Volunteers at Connects & Co often have as much fun as the children and young people we support!
Members of Connect Club group can be given an opportunity to volunteer through our Connect Cadets scheme.
Adults can volunteer their time too.
We welcome any enquiries about getting involved, just get in touch.
All Connects & Co adult volunteers undergo the standard checks and training which are required for anyone working with children and young people or the vulnerable. An informal interview process will be required before suitable checks are carried out.
BECOME A TRUSTEE
Connects & Co. relies on its Trustees to oversee the management and administration of the charity.
The Trustees provide an important role in making sure Connects & Co. runs effectively and in the best interests of the young carers it supports.
Many Trustees come from professional backgrounds or have experience in working with young carers and provide much needed experience and guidance for Connects & Co in all aspects of the charity.
Trustees meet every two months and the amount of personal time expected depends entirely on the individual and how much they would like to get involved in the running of the Charity. Some trustees have actively been involved in activities and away days!
